Springfield Clinic is searching for a Director of Business and Clinical Intelligence to be located in Springfield, Illinois.
Springfield Clinic, a leading independent multi-specialty group practice of almost 400 providers practicing in 40 distinct fields of medicine, is actively recruiting a key leader to provide technical expertise in all facets of systems operations of electronic business and clinical intelligence. Specifically, this leader will be charged with key functions of managing clinical quality and outcomes, population health management and business operations.
The Director of Business and Clinical Intelligence will provide leadership and tactical guidance to maintain system integrity and security and will serve as a liaison, providing appropriate information, direction and assistance across the clinic. This position will lead a team responsible for analyzing, programming, testing and maintaining multiple systems that support the clinic’s business requirements.
In Addition, this position will be charged with short and long-term strategic thought process to provide preparation for future needs of systems as it relates to hardware, software and network needs of the organization.
This position plays a central role in the optimization of systems, quality, fiscal management and clinical outcomes. It will be a part of a team dedicated to efficient delivery of quality care and service while contributing to work culture enhancement and internal communication. The Director of Business and Clinical Intelligence reports directly to the Chief Information Officer.
Springfield Clinic is seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record of key technological and administrative responsibilities within the healthcare business intelligence and decision support environments, preferably within a large, multispecialty medical group. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in areas of clinical systems, data warehouse technologies, database concepts, data mining/utilization, computer business applications as well as strategic planning. This leader must be a high-capacity professional who is both detail-oriented and exceptional at building relationships. The ability to recognize, embrace and preserve a unique and successful culture of true consensus building teamwork is crucial.
Successful candidate must have 3 to 5 years in a leadership capacity. Salary and benefits are competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
