-Candidates will have a working knowledge of current federal and applicable state laws pertaining to EMR processes and implementation, as well as knowledge of educational and industry accreditation requirements.
-Experience with all phases of ground-up medical record implementation and/or conversion – paper to EMR to testing to final live-on-line.
-Knowledgeable of hardware and software products and vendors.
-At least 3 years working directly with EMR in hospital or physician office settings, or other non-traditional provider facilities.
-Must have HIM certification or combination of certifications.
-Must have at least and Associate Degree in HIM, HIT or IT with EMR expertise.
