Lenoir Memorial Hospital is searching for a MIS Director/Chief Information Officer to be located in Kinston, North Carolina.
Lenoir Memorial Hospital is a not-for-profit hospital licensed for 261 beds in Kinston, North Carolina. Lenoir is dedicated to the community it serves by offering quality inpatient, outpatient and preventive healthcare services that are close to home.
Position Responsibilities:
In this position, you will serve as the hospital’s representative in establishing criteria for the evaluation of current and future information systems requirements. You will also responsible for directing the activities of the personnel in the MIS Department to achieve hospital-wide information system efforts.
Candidate Qualifications:
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or Healthcare Administration. May also consider BS in clinical discipline with additional training, experience and proven competence in information systems management. Master’s degree preferred.
We require a minimum of 3-5 years management experience directing MIS Department operations for a healthcare facility – preferably at the CIO or Assistant CIO level. Experience with project management, information systems strategic planning, financial management and budgeting required.
