Medical Learning, Inc. (MedLearn) is searching for Senior Health Care Consultants to join our consulting team. Must be able to travel.
MedLearn is located in St. Paul, Minnesota. There is no need for relocation, but candidate must be able to travel up to 75% and is required.
Position Summary (Several Available):
MedLearn is currently searching for Senior Health Care Consultants who would report to our Vice President of Consulting Services.
Subject matter experts needed to include the following area:
-HIM Inpatient and Outpatient and Physician Coding (multi-specialty background required).
-Radiology (all modality background required)
-Chargemaster
-Pharmacy
-Case Management and Clinical Documentation Improvement Area.
Candidate Qualifications, Experience & Education:
- In-depth technical knowledge of any coding, compliance and reimbursement conventions applicable to your area of subject matter expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of any regulatory knowledge of coding, compliance and billing related to Medicare (Medicaid knowledge is a plus).
- Maintains knowledge of coding and billing requirements and regulatory changes and acts as a resource to colleagues and clients
- Maintains a 95% or higher coding accuracy rate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a clinical setting..
- BA or BS degree in respective specialty area preferred.
- At least one of the following coding credential is required, based upon experience:
-RHIA, RHIT CCS or CPC
-NMTCB: Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT)
-Certified Internal Auditor or national association compliance certification desiredApplication Process:
