Legacy Health, a six-hospital system in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington metro area, has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Clinical Data Services. This management position is responsible for clinical data services across an integrated healthcare system. The Clinical Data Services Manager will provide leadership, direction and oversight of hospital coding functions and quality documentation improvement. This Manager has oversight of the Burn Registry and is an active member of the HIPAA Registry Committee.
Candidate Qualifications:
-Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Health Information Management or equivalent experience.
-Must have a minimum of 7 years of progressive professional HIM including 3 years of Coding Management experience.
-RHIT or RHIA Certification preferred.
-Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) also preferred.
