Job Description: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland is searching for a Health Information Management – Team Leader.

Position Responsibilities:
This position, under limited supervision, ensures that the workflow and productivity of the Health Information Assistants and Technicians, meets, and exceeds the expectations of their customers.

  • Monitoring Medical Records workflow of department and productivity of employees.
  • Acting as Medical Record Department liaison for all missing clinic medical records, as well as any filing questions or concerns.
  • Coordinating scanning activities and prioritizing work assignments.
  • Maintaining work schedules, preparing daily assignments and reviewing work.

    Candidate Requirements:
    -High School diploma or GED.
    -One (1) year of basic technical training in office automation.
    -One to two (1-2) years of previous experience.
    -Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.
