Job Description: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland is searching for a Health Information Management Department - Assistant.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Pulling, retrieving, delivering and creating new charts.
  • Filing loose materials.
  • Acting as front desk receptionist.
  • Running necessary reports.
  • Using Softmed, Groupwise and Meditech systems on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining chart order and accuracy.
  • Scanning and indexing documents using Meditech.
  • Covering alternating shifts on a rotating schedule.

    Candidate Requirements:
    -Knowledge of Terminal Digit Order.
    -Excellent customer service skills.
    -Medical Records and computer experience preferred.
