Job Description: MLT, Inc. is searching for experienced Part-Time Inpatient Medical Coders for IP, OP, POA, ER and same day surgery engagements thourghout the Chicago, Illinois area.

Position:
Medical coders with inpatient (DRG), POA, outpatient, ER and same day surgery experience. Part-time positions available in Chicago, the suburbs and Rockford, Illinois area. Local travel that requires going to different client sites within your mileage parameters.

Requirements:

  • No less than 3 years experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Currently coding inpatient, outpatient, ER and same day surgery records.
  • Successfully pass MLT’s coding test.
  • Current Credentials: RHIT, RHIA, or CCS
