Job Description: McBee Associates, Inc. is searching for FT and PT Certified Coders to be located in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Some local travel is required.

McBee Associates, Inc. is one of the nation's largest, independent Health Care Management firms. Due to a rapid increase in business, the firm is seeking multiple Certified Coders to support our Coding Practice, located in our corporate office in Wayne, PA.

Position Overview:
The Certified Coders will be responsible for coding client charts, quality assurance and product development related to current coding practices. They will review client charts and medical records, ensuring that client coding is accurate and compliant, as well as identifying appropriate diagnosis (ICD-9/CPT-4/HCPCS) codes for revenue cycle initiatives. The qualified candidate must have a working knowledge of current coding practices. We are looking for multiple candidates at all levels for both full and part-time positions.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must possess one or more of the following: CCS, RHIT, or an RHIA credential through AHIMA; or a CPC/CPC-H credential from the AAPC.
  • Four year college degree a plus but not required.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 1-3 years coding experience.
  • Must be able to work out of the Wayne, PA office M-F, or part time if desired.
  • Four year degree is desirable but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Must be capable of producing detailed, comprehensive documentation and reports.
  • Travel to client sites is required as is occasional travel.
